Carol is a passionate, if very wobbly yogi, who fell head over heels in love with the world of yoga when she discovered it was so much more than Downward Dogs and Sun Salutations on a yoga retreat back in 2014.
The idea for Seeds of Wonder was born a few years later in 2018 during a silent meditation retreat in the beautiful rice paddies of Tabanan in Bali. After reflecting on her own struggles to expand her understanding of yoga and the challenges of embedding it into her life outside of yoga class, Carol decided to share what she was learning and to try to find ways to make it easier for others to embrace the yoga lifestyle and philosophy within their own their lives.
Through Seeds of Wonder, Carol is committed to playing a part in breaking down many of the myths that exist about yoga.
She aims to make yoga feel accessible to anyone and everyone, pushing past the idea many have that you need to be a skinny human pretzel able to tie yourself into knots, that it is solely a physical activity or that you have to commit to years of studying complex Sanskrit texts (unless you want to of course!).
Believing that one size doesn’t fit all, through Seeds of Wonder Carol hopes to inspire and support others to draw on the yoga lifestyle and philosophy to find practical tools and knowledge to shape a life that offers more balance, connection, happiness and health.
Born in the UK, Carol has lived in Sydney, Australia since 2002. When she is not delving into the world of yoga you will usually find her heading off on a new adventure with her three mischievous dogs and husband Tim.
